Our Story
Some of history's greatest dishes were never meant for the masses. They were crafted in the royal kitchens of the Maharajas, perfected by the Khansamas of the Mughal Courts, and cherished within family homes across India's diverse regions. At Sai Nirvana, we believe extraordinary food should be enjoyed by everyone. Founded by Swadeep, whose lifelong passion for cooking became both his sanctuary and his way of connecting with people, Sai Nirvana was born from a simple yet ambitious vision to bring the richness of India's regional cuisines to Singapore without compromising authenticity or accessibility. From the fragrant Lucknowi Yakhni Pulao and the smoky, slow-cooked heritage of Authentic Champaran Mutton, to the bold flavours of Rajasthani Laal Maas and the timeless taste of Peshawari Karahi, every dish honours the traditions from which it originated. Alongside these treasured classics, our kitchen embraces thoughtful innovation with creations such as our signature Butter Chicken Meatballs - a contemporary interpretation that respects tradition while celebrating creativity. Our philosophy is simple: luxury should never be reserved for a select few. The flavours once enjoyed by royalty deserve a place at every table. We strive to offer a dining experience worthy of a palace, at a price that welcomes everyone. The name Sai Nirvana reflects this philosophy. Sai, inspired by Sai Baba, represents compassion, humility, and selfless service. Nirvana symbolises enlightenment, harmony, and fulfilment. Together, they embody our belief that food has the power to transcend differences, bring people together, and create moments of genuine connection.
